The aesthetic and gameplay of Ophidia is based on visual motifs found in medieval celtic manuscripts. The player guides the ouroboros - a serpent eating its own tail- with their finger to envelope and eat other creatures. The gesture that the player makes is an echo of the symbol itself. I directed 3 artists on visual design as well as created other elements of the game on my own. I’m personally responsible for every asset displayed on this page, from conceptualization to animation.
